September 4, 2020
NASA Space Apps Challenge - it is a 48 hour and 100% virtual hackathon that unites space enthusiasts around the globe to address real-world problems on Earth and in Space using NASA free and open data; VIRAC will take part in the event as a supporter.
This is an opportunity to connect with people from different backgrounds and talents to solve one of the challenges provided by NASA.
In addition, this is a chance to:
1. Raise your idea to NASA (and, if necessary, to partners);
2. Visit NASA and watch a rocket launch;
3. Win 2000 EUR money prize;
4. Gain special awards from partners and sponsors.
The international hackathon is designed for coders, scientists, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams work with free and open NASA data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.
